You’re invited to a
songfest…
We are having a sing-along house party. We’ll supply drinks and snacks; we’re asking you to bring your voices and enthusiasm! If you have a special treat that you’d like to bring along, please do.
Practice up on your favorite old and new folk music – past parties have included songs written or recorded by Stan Rogers, Schooner Fare, Gordon Bok, Archie Fisher, John McCutcheon, Garnet Rogers, Privateer, Steeleye Span, Arlo Guthrie, Simon & Garfunkle, Gordon Lightfoot, Peter Paul & Mary, and others. We even hope to try some Irish instrumental music this time.

We will do an “open stage” with music by any volunteer amateurs – bring your instrument along if you feel like playing. Then we’ll go into a sing-along, lead by noted Chicago folk singer Bob Burger.
